What is Medinex?
Medinex is a comprehensive SaaS platform designed for NDIS providers, support coordinators, and plan managers. It helps you manage participants, rosters, billing, compliance, and staff — all in one place.
Is Medinex NDIS-compliant?
Yes. Medinex is built specifically for the Australian NDIS sector. It supports NDIS pricing arrangements, compliance reporting, incident management, and progress notes in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
How much does Medinex cost?

Can I try Medinex before subscribing?

How do I add employees to the platform?
Once you're set up, you can invite employees via the dashboard. Each employee gets their own login and can access the mobile app for shift check-ins, progress notes, leave requests, and more.
Does Medinex have a mobile app?
Yes! The Medinex Employee App is available for iOS and Android. Employees can view their roster, check in/out of shifts, complete progress notes, request leave, and communicate with staff — all from their phone.
How does roster management work?
Medinex offers powerful roster tools including drag-and-drop scheduling, bulk roster creation, AI-assisted rostering, shift swapping, and real-time notifications. You can manage rosters by employee, participant, or location.
Can I manage participant NDIS plans?
Yes. Medinex lets you track participant budgets, service agreements, support plans, and appointments. You can also log progress notes, incidents, and medication charts for each participant.
How does billing and invoicing work?
Medinex supports NDIS bulk billing, line-item invoicing, and Xero export integration. You can generate invoices directly from approved shifts and track payments against participant budgets.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). We host data on Australian servers, enforce multi-factor authentication, and comply with Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What support do you offer?
We provide email and phone support during business hours. Premium plans include priority support. We also offer onboarding assistance, training resources, and a comprehensive knowledge base.
Can I import existing data?
Yes. We support bulk import of participants, employees, and roster data via CSV. Our onboarding team can assist with migrating your data from other systems.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from your subscription settings. Your data will be available for export for 30 days after cancellation. Refer to our Refund & Credit Policy for details.
Does Medinex integrate with other software?
Medinex integrates with Xero for accounting and supports API access for custom integrations. We're continuously expanding our integration ecosystem.
